Emulex 2 is a detonator sensitive emulsion with an excellent combination of velocity of detonation, gas generation characteristics and specific energy. It contains aluminium to enhance heave. Emulex 2 is mainly used for blasting of lumpy broken rock in quarries. Works well as a column load or base charge. Emulex 2 is also suitable for use as booster charge for less sensitive explosives such as ANFO and blasting agents.
