Emulex AV is an emulsion explosive containing aluminium which is used to release avalanches artificially. It is commonly used as concentrated charge and can be used at temperatures down to -30 °C.
The advantages are excellent resistance against winter conditions, very low amount of toxic fumes, excellent water resistance and good handling due to stiff cartridges.
