In 2009 Austin Powder Company began a partnership with Carmeuse at their Maysville Operation. Kursten Walton, Carmeuse Regional Purchasing Manager described Austin Powder’s work at Carmeuse as the successful integration of competitive purchase price, serviceability, and value-added services including a suite of technical service specialties that support the total blasting process from start to finish. This is done by establishing baselines, making recommendations, and dialing in the ideal result.
