Austin Powder in the US recently created a new colored detonating cord in response to a request from a single customer. Our traditional green A Cord was difficult to see once the heading was tied in, so the customer was looking for a brighter cord that would stand out against the rock. Chris Wakefield and his team at Red Diamond came up with the beautiful bright orange cord seen in the picture.
Dan Sterk, Product Manager – Packaged Products/Cast Boosters, said the customer was very pleased with the solution we were able to provide.
