Key advancements in the 2023-2026 Sustainability Master Plan include reassessing impacts on climate change and biodiversity, conducting Life Cycle Assessments, and fostering innovation for sustainable products like the lead-free primary explosive for detonators. The closure of the AOP plant led to a 40% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in Mexico, and efforts to decarbonize CO2 at the USN Plant have reduced emissions equivalent to taking 11,616 cars off the road. Despite challenges, Austin Powder remains committed to safety, quality, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring its operations align with sustainability goals and industry leadership.
