As an Austin Powder CDL Driver, you’re an important part of making that work happen.

Typical Qualifications Include:

  • Valid Class A or Class B CDL License
  • Clean driving Record
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position
  • Hazmat, tanker and air brake endorsements are highly preferred
  • Ability to meet ATF requirements for handling explosives

THE JOB

What Does an Austin Powder CDL Driver Do?

This isn’t a typical driving job.

Austin Powder CDL Drivers work as part of a team in the field, operating specialized vehicles and supporting blasting operations at customer sites. Depending on the position and location, responsibilities may include operating and maintaining equipment, assisting with loading and connecting explosives, completing required inspections and paperwork and supporting the blast crew.

Above all, you’ll be expected to follow Austin Powder’s strict safety standards every day.
