The Austin Powder team at the Chinchillas Mine completed 1,000 blasts and four years without accidents or lost time incidents!
For his part, Gastón Agustoni, Commercial Manager of Austin Powder Argentina, adds, “Safety is Our First Priority. And the environment is also a top priority for us too. By the pictures, you can tell that our guys care for the animals in the project and the plants. Being Customer Focused, achievements as this have powerful commercial implications. I celebrate it.”
“The Chinchillas service team was initially formed by Victor Muñoz and Ricardo Risatti and is made up of a group of workers from different projects and a local operational team made up of workers from nearby communities. The different experiences, and knowledge of the location and the task, made this a solid team committed to their daily work. Austin Powder started the service from the beginning of the project. This gave us a unique sense of belonging that motivated us to improve day by day,” says Raúl Quiroga, Chief of Operations for Austin Powder at the Chinchillas Mine.
