The Austin Powder team at the Chinchillas Mine completed 1,000 blasts and four years without accidents or lost time incidents!

“The Chinchillas service team was initially formed by Victor Muñoz and Ricardo Risatti and is made up of a group of workers from different projects and a local operational team made up of workers from nearby communities. The different experiences, and knowledge of the location and the task, made this a solid team committed to their daily work. Austin Powder started the service from the beginning of the project. This gave us a unique sense of belonging that motivated us to improve day by day,” says Raúl Quiroga, Chief of Operations for Austin Powder at the Chinchillas Mine.
