The 25th international seminar NTREM (New Trends in Research of Energetic Materials) took place in Pardubice, Czech Republic, from the 19th to the 21st of April, 2023.
For many years AUSTIN has been one of the traditional participants and sponsors of the international seminar on new trends in energetic materials. Approximately 180 participants from many countries of the world registered for this year’s seminar, which is a testimony to the undying interest of young talents in our field.
In addition to attending interesting presentations, we also used the time to meet our suppliers and representatives of the University of Pardubice. Everything took place in a traditionally friendly atmosphere and this year we were joined by our colleagues from Austin Powder, who attended the seminar for the first time.
NTREM is an international meeting of students and early career researchers involved in the fundamental understanding, development, technology, industry, or application of energetic materials. The seminar provides an opportunity to present research and receive feedback and interaction with senior, established experts in the field. In addition, participants will meet and form networks that will enable them to communicate with each other. It is expected that the seminar will contribute to career advancement. The seminar is intended to provide a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere where the exchange of professional experiences goes along with the building of strong personal relationships among young specialists working in the field of energetic materials.
