Starting non-electric blasts is now easier with the new Rock*Star Starter detonator.
Initiation of non-electric blasts with the electric detonator was never easier. The electric detonator equipped with a plastic connector allows easy connection of one or more lead Shock Tubes. The plastic connector body keeps all the benefits of the Shock*Star Surface such as the capacity for 8 Shock Tubes, locking position, and easy manipulation. It is also possible to use this detonator to initiate a 5 g detonating cord. We believe that this detonator finds its application in quarries, mines, and also in construction or tunneling blasting.
